I will be away from Kota Kinabalu the whole week of next week (note: Monday to Saturday) as I will be flying to Labuan for a field work/site assessment for oil & gas scheduled waste & then off to KL for my convocation ceremony.
I am terribly nervous going to the field as I am not really prepared mentally to adopt to the oil & gas environment; let alone assessing the chemical spill, types of scheduled waste and so on.
Argh. And the remaining day of the week, I am pack with my two on-going Projects. I have submitted the draft report for the mixed development to the client and I am preparing the reply-complaint letter for another Project.
I am terribly busy. I got no time to wash my graduation robe & argh! I got to go to the nearest studio and take picture as that would be the typical routine for the graduates upon receiving their scroll.
Isn’t it?
I have no idea. Please help me!
It’s tuesday & I just came back from my short trip to KL for the sole purpose of getting the convocation robe & other important items required for the convocation ceremony.
It was rather hectic journey & i end up rushing to everywhere as I was in KL for less than 24 hours or so.
The actual event take place on monday 28th July 08 where the graduates have to collect their graduation stuff prior to the ceremony. The counter scheduled to open at 8.30 am. I arrived at the Examination Building (BP) 40 minutes early & I am already the person no. 991 queue up to get number. It was a rather unpleasant, dreaded event & I am DAMN sure this thing going to happen. Inefficiency, middle name of the university.
Every year, thousands student going to graduate & participating in the convocation ceremony but still no active approach to overcome the problem. Typical university.
Anyway, I met plenty of course mate during the event & got to hang out with Shanaz as she was down in KL just to collect the stuff for her & Sumi.

After the event, I managed to squeeze in ‘rush’ shopping & bought myself the ever-fugly mary-jane crocs in red ruby. ew ew.

I can’t never imagine myself wearing crocs.. and here i am, with a pair of red crocs.
Ew. ew.
owh, and I managed to get the discounted AX tee from the Gardens. teeeheee.
I have never been a fan of the Sex and the City series (due to not really, really watching the series from the very beginning) and thank god for that! No offense people! I’m pretty much easily get addicted to series like the mentioned. My loss for not being in the hype & crazy over the series, storyline, haute couture & the NY life. ![]()

But hey! Its not too late to love the series! Ha,ha. I just watched the movie & I find myself in tears in a couple of scenes. Give me a break! I’m a girl too. I am allowed to get sappy & tearful over a couple of scenes, so.. :p
After the movie, I find that:
1. I fall in love with Mr Big character. I want my own Mr. Big *grin*
2. The story-line is pretty much like a fantasy reality. Oh how I love when Big proposed to Carrie with a blue Melono Blahnik but at the same time, yep, everyone can get rejected & brokenhearted. That is part of life.
3. I just love the soundtrack. I love the new Fergie’s Labels or Love song, Jennifer Hudson’s All Dressed Up In Love as well as old track being re-mix into house-easy listening such as Nina Simone-The Look of Love.
4. oh yeah! apple all the way! macbook pro. iphone. All the edgy-gadget in the movie
Which reminds me to get the see-thru hard shell cover for my Macbook. I drop by the shop selling Apple products & came across the guy i fight/flirt with over the apple products. So today I made a bet with him: If I’m not getting Leopard by September, I’m dead. LOL.
By few discussion with one Apple enthusiast, I decided to choose black case for my macbook. Reason? I own a white AND black Macbook! LOL. How cool is that?
Anyway, I love other color as well… lime green, purple as well as pink. awww.

Incase Hardshell for Macbook in black
Ha.ha. Good tag-line. Why so serious?
I just came back from watching ‘Dark Knight’ at GSC 1Borneo. Alone.
Yep. I had my ‘me’ time just now. Watching the movie alone. nyehehe.
Anyway, I love the movie unfold. I love the Batman character. I love the Joker acting.

Heath Ledger / The Joker
I just looove the special effect especially when Batman trying to capture Mr Lau, the chinese business accountant from the building in HK and when the Joker’s trailer went upside-down (and suddenly everything become quiet) scene. Ha.ha.
When it comes to super-hero, I choose Batman over other superhero i.e. those wearing undies outside etc. I just love the Bruce Wayne/Batman character ever since I was little.
Yep, at one point, I said I want to marry to the Batman.
.. and that statement still true until now. mwhahahaha.
I just came back from work trip to KL yesterday night. I was in KL for four days. Fly off on wednesday noon with the boss & the engineer & checked in to the nearest hotel in Putrajaya.
At first, I was kinda nervous presenting our proposal to the committee members. It was my FIRST presentation since I started working & it was presented to the Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment instead of our local Environmental Protection Department.

But after a few rehearsal in front of the team (the boss, the engineer & the assoc. prof from UMS), I feel comfortable presenting the proposal.
To make the long story short, I presented the proposal well (meaning: not nervous, boring etc).
It’s up to the committee member to love or hate our proposal.
Half of the committee member are a representative from various governmental agencies in Sabah.
The rep from EPD was actually one of the panel during my job interview. After the presentation, when we were shaking hands with everyone; he said ‘Buli tahan juga kau ah’. I was LOL.
I have to settle the boss & Ir flight as they missed the 2.15 pm flight. Then I’m off to KL!
Well, I met the great one & as usual, I was catching up with the Indian glorious food all over Klang Valley. Ah.
I have cleared my system too. I am contented. and able to move on now. ![]()

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 ─ Apple today begins selling the iPhone 3G to replace earlier and slower models.
Touted as twice the speed, half the price, the 3G model has the same 8GB capacity as the EDGE iPhone but comes with new features such as enterprise applications and GPS.
The phone was Apple’s entry into the crowded and competitive mobile phone sector dominated by Finnish giant Nokia and several Korean and Taiwanese makers.
But the iPhone integrated Apple’s successful and iconic Ipod MP3 player with touch screen features and the company’s famed industrial design to gain market share and appeal to a younger set.
The iPhone 3G will be available in a few Asian nations soon, most of whom have already cracked earlier sets which were tied to US provider AT&T.
Its understood that Maxis will offer the iPhone 3G in Malaysia at a competitive price below RM1,000.

Hooray!
Woooohooooooooo!! Rafa beat FedEx in Wimbledon in a five-set, almost five-hour final!
He won over Federer with 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 9-7.
Can you imagine? He won Roland Garros AND Wimbledon in the SAME summer?
But the question is: How on earth the king of green got beated by the king of clay in green?
OK, I don’t know either, I didn’t watch the final, was too busy with something else.

Look what I have purchased today. Braun Buffel Men Messenger Bag supposed to be in my wish list but I can’t afford to buy that as I am (cough) trying to save some kaching (cough) for my 3 trips within this 2 months.
Instead, I choose Belkin messenger bag for notebook up to 15.4″ in chocolate/tourmaline. I was considering Dove/Peony but I guess its too cheeky for me. I want something that I can look ‘handsome’ carrying my gadget. mwhahaha.

Owh, and I bought the latest addition for my mac family too; Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter.
Something funny happened when I reached home from the gym. My house gate is not equipped with an automatic slide gate opener system. So upon reaching the house,I have to open the gate manually.
We have recently changed our gate to bigger, heavier (with solid steel) and nicer (you know, those black & gold pleated & a flowery design) than before. If I’m not mistaken, it is a 10 ft x 8ft and weigh more than 60kg.
When I was pushing the gate just now, I did it with my left hand and WITHOUT putting much force to the gate (Imagine: opening those glass sliding door). I did opened it delicately.
But somehow it move beyond the gate railway stopper & eventually lose its balance and FELL.
I was stunned. I pushed the more than 60kg gate with my left hand without putting much energy and it FELL.
It fell and crushed all my mom’s flower pot.
OMFG. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.
Guess my weight-lifting workout for months work afterall.
Though my arms still look flabby but hey, I can push the 60kg (or more) gate & it fell!
Impressive ey!
I have been occupied with the latest, sensational hourly updates on the Malaysian politic-sphere this week. The plot is getting interesting.
More drama. More controversy. More twist-tale. More declare-retract statutory/statement. More anal. mwhahaha.
It is mind boggling to understand the whole plot if you are not watching/reading/observing it from the first episode (or season).
So stay tune & blog-hop for more updates!

Don’t even try to figure out why, how, who, when, etc.
It is just a waste of time. (like what Sabahan would say: bikin panas seja oh. ha,ha)
Treat it like a fiction book you are currently reading. Or a second season (or maybe forth) of desperate housewives politico. Ha,ha.
No offense to anyone! I’m just bored out of my head.
