I can’t deny that I break down this morning when I digitize the landuse of Penang. He,he and fought with the great ones. However, the great one calm me down and help me to come back to my senses. I haven’t sobbed so much this year. Well, then I went to Queensbay alone to calm my mind & sooth my feeling. I don’t know why I am being emotional these days. Maybe due to the workload stress accumulating etc and suddenly, a night before I snapped. I had a heartiful lunch meal with a complimentary of green tea ice-cream. I like.

Then the fun part begin. I spent quite alot in Forever 21. OMG OMG OMG. Retail therapy really works! It bring smiles to my face. Weeeee!

and guess what, I bought the hot pink tube dress & the rose with black-ground dress, and a hot and body-hugging halter. Imagine a floral dress with a huge hat for tea party? That’s how it is. Bought two long-sleeve tees and a grey legging. Oh heaven. I would love to shop again after my land survey paper finish.

Apart from that, I bought a nice, yummy strapless pushup from lasenza. Honestly, I don’t really like their lingerie, I prefer triumph, or victoria’s secret.

Apart from that, Borders selling Eleven Minutes of Paolo Coelho and I bought it straight away. Weee!

Bought a set of mini-donut from J.Co for my fellow studio-mate.

Came back around 6.30 pm and I get a text from my lecturer, inviting for japanese-dinner. Then we went off to Queensbay for Sakae Sushi again! wooooh.

… and here I am, contented, full.. and a lil’ bit guilty because I should start studying Botany tonight.

However, I heart forever 21.

Oh i am forever 21.

ah!

Finally, after 3 weeks of boredom (thanks to me being a lazy bum) I painted the town red! Literally.

Prior to that, kart came to the house to send some goodies she bought for me and Ren. Thanks Kart for the unicorn! :) I’ll pass it to Ren when I see her. He.he.

Anyway, had a Big mac moment with Jessie at Api-Api’s. Decided to hit the Api-Api outlet instead of the usuals as I hunched that it would be crowded with people (saturday yo!). We went back to the mall to check out some shoes as I am in desperate need of one or two pairs. Ha.ha. End up buying 2; one black 1-inch wedge with black strap & a white 2-inches sling back from another store. Well, those two are the nicest among all & meet the criteria I wanted; comfy, plain-nice & presentable for work. :)

One day, maybe my trip to Manila or when I go back to KL for a round of shopping, I’m hoping that I could get hold of those yummy handbags & Shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo. I always have this mental image of me in Armani suit & Ferragamo leather. Yummy. Ha.ha.

Yeah, i know I’m being materialistic. Well hey, everyone are! So don’t be so naive & said, no- I’m selfless creature living in this world trying do goods to everyone. Everything is made up of matter. So you are saying you are not one? So what are you? Angel? LOL.

I am online window shopping again now & I come across Ferragamo’s Marisa shoulder bag. It looks normal but i LOVE it. I want, I want!

Marisa shoulder bag

nyway, another reason Im going out today is to find another set of work-attire. I can’t seem to get the ONE. Ahhh.. how I wish I’m in KL right now! I will march to Raoul or Zara and buy their set of pinstripe suits & heaps of cotton long-sleeve shirts. Ahh! and perhaps I can drop by Godiva outlet & get myself a Godiva Belgian Blended. Seems that Pavilion has everything to offer for me because everything I want is THERE! Largest Forever 21 outlet in Malaysia (as compared to the one in 1Utama), Ferragamo, Marc Jacob, J.Co, Zara & even NICER GSC cinema. Of did I mention I went to watch movie there with the Singaporean guy & we really enjoyed the comfort of GOOD hospitality from the staff, COMFY seat but too bad, we watched sucky movie. So, yeah.

So my point here is, KK is the lousiest place to shop! Of course you can get good bargain here but most of the shop selling honk-y clothes. Not that I’m against Honk-y style or anything but I appreciate good quality stuff & craftmanship. I don’t mind paying hefty price for a bag or clothes as long as it is durable & one of the kind

Oh, and FINALLY! I managed to get a high-waisted skirt for a cheaper price than the one I saw in Warehouse, Bangsar Village 2. That one cost about 50 pounds? gosh! I got mine for less than a 100RM! :)

High-waisted skirt

So now I’m a proud owner of high-waisted skirt! I can be the next Sarah Jessica Parker! Hahahahaha! Dream on.

Jessie & I went to the nearest Starbucks for a break from shopping frenzy. When we walked in to the outlet, I saw one HOT indian/multiracial guy with a laptop sitting alone outside. I saw him checking me out! and he saw me checking him out too! hahahha. He’s a total HOTTIE. :)

Yes, I’ve said it. The fact that I’ll be starting with a humble fixed income & I doubt that I’ll be able to control my purchasing plus other expenses (i.e. 1L=RM1.9; food; constant visit for my caramel machianto; yada yada). I’m currently thinking of how am I going to handle my financial & still able to save some every month. :)

Anyway, I went out with Jessie yesterday. She picked me up & we headed to the postgraduate centre in the local university because she needs to register for this new semester. Then we headed to the City Mall to try out something different to eat. When we reached there, the Japanese restaurant closed! dang! In the end we ate at the fast food & cursing about it. We should just go to the Warisan as there would be more variety there.

Anyway, after quick lunch, trying out some donuts and sipping latte & talk for hours, we drove to another new mall that I never been to; the new Asia City. We went there to buy my work attire & checking out shops. Sadly, I think 70% of the shops there are still empty w/o any tenants. I can see there is a couple of new shops such as Lewre which having like 50% sale until CNY! But, they only have the last seasons which explains the 50% discount. LOL.

I managed to squeeze in a greyish stripes of sweater that I bought from another local (but trying to look international with pan-Asian as their model, you know which one I’m talking about) store for yes, another 50% discount. So instead of paying for 109RM, I bought it for 54.9RM. LOL.

I feel like shopping again. ah. I just hope Raoul will open their stores in KK. and Forever 21 too. and Zara. and Robinson. and ISetan. and Gucci. and Armani Exchange. and sooo many moreeee. I miss shopping! seriously. and I need that cashmere sweater from Zara. argh! In the mean time, I have to shop locally.

P/s: ah… i need my dose of godiva. I’m having lindt now. hmmm.

Yesterday (21/11/07) we checked out from the hotel around 10 am & took a cab back to MC. We were planning to crash in to the Cocktail Reception at Shook! as the occasion require invitation card to get in only. sigh.

We arrived at Bukit Bintang around 2pm & had lunch at Kenny Roger at the Bintang Walk. We then went to Pavilion & went gaga at Forever 21. ha.ha. Sharon managed to grab some skinny jeans & me some lingerie. By the time we paid our purchases it was already 5.08pm! OMG! We’re going to be late to do stalking & crashing party.

We were walking around the Starhill Gallery & looking for back entrance etc as IM SO sure they will not enter the building from the main entrance. I didn’t realize that there is a bridge connecting Starhill Gallery & Ritz Carlton!

So by the time we get to the entrance of Ritz Carlton, plenty of reporters, photographers & fans were already waiting at the entrance. I asked one lady tourist whats happening (pretend that i don’t know what happening, haha) & she said the tennis players going to arrive from the airport soon!
Yes, indeed soon was only a couple of minutes! Pete & Roger came in black merc.
Some huha going on when the press took pictures of them because somebody pushing the photographer & he was pissed off & making scene! Not a good image to potray Malaysian image to the number 1 tennis player.

The chinese friendly & helpful event management guy helped me to take pictures of Roger during the firsh photoshoot at the entrance! thanks to him! muah! We were then followed the crowd to the level 1 of the hotel, the conference room where press conference going to be held. Of course the same guy said fans are not allowed to enter. So we were just hang out outside the conference room. We chat with few other tennis fans hoping to get an autograph from the player & snap some photos. We chat with a good looking guy in bright green polo tee, lady with 2 daughters that managed to get Nadal signature & grab his bicep (LOL), young lady named Cheryl & his husband, super hardcore fan of Pete Sampras in grey shirt guy & others. We were chatting over the tournament, our favourite player & even attempt to get their autograph & pictures. It may sound silly but this is what the usual fans will do. ha.ha. the lady with kids has a guts to STOP Pete & get his autograph.

Pete wasn’t really into interacting with his fan as compared to Roger. Pete walked straight in to the Conference room, private meeting with YTL chairman & even to Shook!. I managed to walk next to Pete & asking his autograph but he was just looking at me with some smile but thats all. No autograph, photos with him etc. I talked to him when we were walking from the hotel to the Starhill Gallery bridge.

As for Roger, he actually stopped & sign a couple of autograph before entering the press conference & promised will go out & sign for us again. He take care of his fan very well! :) sharon managed to get her journal & tennis ball sign by him. I took a lot of pictures at every angle showing his cute face. He’s super tall in person!

Oh, on the way to the Shook!, i managed to tap Roger’s gf shoulder and chat with her!
I asked her can i take picture with her? And she replied sorry she can’t because if she take picture with me other fans will follow the lead etc. She’s so polite! surprising! Because when you look at her, she NEVER smile. Anyway, I said ‘alright, it’s okay. Can you say hi to him (Roger)? and she said ’sure’. I thank her after than and she & the rest of the guards went down to the Shook! area. I went down too, using the same escalator! :) seems like im part of the group. ha.ha.

anyway, i took some shots of them at the stage etc & left the building.
We drop by to the nearest starbuck & ordered my toffee nut frap & some sandwich for dinner. and thats all the excitement today. Glad that we managed to get something from the outing. SO it wasn’t so wasted after all (even after the disapointment that Nadal is not in Malaysia already).

I’ll blog again later for the Clash of the Times. got to go and sleep now. ciao.

Mua!
