Why?

1. I woke up late this morning; I’m jumpy, off-beat;

2. Have to drive all the way from Kolombong to Innoprise to Gaya St to settle my consultant application; in which i almost got into accident with some dang trailer;

3. Bloody jam all the way along Lintas-Kolombong road when I’m on the way to the gym in which (refer photos below) causes by some unfortunate event;

4.I over-do my hamstring during body-jam. Aching non-stop now;

5. I can’t login to facebook right now due to some javascript faults.

Grrrrrr!!

We’ve come to the end of the year again, and anticipating to enter the new year of 2009. So, what’s you accomplishment this year? what have you archived and what’s not? For me, I have archived half of the the new year resolution & another half, still continue struggling to achieve it. Let’s list down my accomplishment for 2008:

(Refer to my New Year Resolution (31/12/2007) post)

List of things I hope that I can achieve in 2008:

1. To be a braver person

2. Discover my potential; job-wise, talent-wise etc

3. Trying to be extrovert ( OK, now i sound desperate.lol)

4. Try to have more fun with friends

5. Save! save & save!

Comment:

1. Yep, I am a braver person than before now. I can drive all the way to the north & south by myself. I can try to fit in the the group of people I never thought would be as fun as dull as they look. ha,ha.

2. I am still discovering my potential etc.  But the question now.. which road I want to take..?

3. Erk. I’m extrovert now than before I started working. So, fine :) I’m happy with it. woooohooo.

4. Indeed! I had a blast in a large group outing as well as spending time with a couple of close friends. yep.

5. Erk… not yet achieve this as all I’m doing this year is to spend, spend & spend. lol. Shall carry this resolution to next year. bluek!

What do I want to achieve in 2009? :)

1. Have more (and more) fun! Trip to Fiji with bestie perhaps? :)

2. Enroll into MTech programme. yep! :)

3. Register myself as assistant consultant;

4. Appreciation of nature & knowledge;

5. To be very serious in photography (Photography is crucial in scientist daily life, as well as tree-huggers). Yeah, I’m taking at least 200 photos for my field work;

6. My own crib (with the illustrated interior & finishings from the previous post mentioned) in Tropicana/Dsara/Mutiara/anywhere nearby the campus;

7. Start back on my work-out regime! erk.. this include polishing tennis skills, start to jog, muscle build-up, I want to join back Bodyjam (!!),

8.  (This is crucial) To overcome my hydro-phobic (sounded like I’m some sort of intermolecular forces)

Ok peeps! Got to go back to work! and to plan a New Year dinner tonight :)

Have a blast new year! Cheers.

In the mean time, enjoy the random shots.

I can’t believe I’m beginning to be a gym bunny. I can’t stop going to the Y and I spend about 2 to 3 hours there, 3 times a week (at least).

I can feel my biceps, lattisimus dorsi & upper abs getting firmer! yeay! ah, and shoulder getting sexier too. mwahahaha. All because of the resistance-workout, cardio & dancing session.

For those first-timer, I reckon y’all to get a personal trainer (PT). They can assist you to achieve your target goal either to increase your fitness level, to lose weight, to tone up or whatever it is. I had 2 PT when I was in KL so this time, PT wouldn’t be necessary for me to achieve my goal as I already plan my own fitness programme.

The first thing you got to identify is the reason why you want to do workout. Some just want to
1. Acknowledging everyone that they ‘go‘ to the gym to work out;
2. Checking people out;
3. To lose weight;
4. To pump up their muscles;
5. To simply killing time in the gym because they got all the time in the world. mwahaha.

For me, I want to increase my fitness level particularly my basal metabolic rate (BMR) as mine is slightly lower than average (means that I can bloat up in no time if i don’t control my food intake; low-metabolism rate, yada yada) & to increase my upper torso strength.

At the same time, I want to reduce my body fat percentage and pump up my muscles. LOL.
So, in order to achieve that, I must do at least 30 minutes of endurance (particularly with machines like treadmill, elliptical trainers or bodyjam session) & a 3 set-20 rep for each major muscles I want tone up. Ok, below is my fitness programme:
Lower body:
1. Leg curl 20 kg/15-20 rep/3 sets (muscle: Hamstrings);
2. Leg extension 20 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscle: Quadriceps);
3. Leg press 40 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles:Quadriceps, gluteneus, hamstrings, gastronemius, soleus);
4. Abductor 25 kg/20 rep/3 sets (muscles: tensor of fascia lata, gluteus)
5. Adductor 20 kg/20 rep/3 sets (muscles: v.v for abductor)
6. Glute 25 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: d butt)

Trunk:
1. Chest incline 10 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: pectoral, delfoids, triceps)
2. Lat machines 15 kg/25 rep/3 sets (muscles: Latissimus dorsi, biceps)
3. Total abdominal 15 kg 50 rep/3 sets (muscles: pectus-abdominis obliques, rectusfemoral ileopsoas)
4. Low row 25 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: latissimus dorsi, biceps, rhomboid)
5. Lower back 20 kg/15 rep/ 3 sets (muscles: quadratus lumborum, sacrospinal)

Upper body:
1. Chess press 10 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: pectoral, deltoids, triceps)
2. Pectoral machine 10 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: pectoral)
3. Shoulder press 10 kg/15 rep/3 sets (muscles: deltoids, triceps)

Thats all from me today. :)

p/s: I’m still figuring out how to connect my ipod to the treadmill. Been looking for the ipod dock but i guess i can’t open up the flap covering it. LOL. or the treadmill is not ipod compatible

I just came back from the latino dance class from the gym.  I was quite impressed with myself as I have no been dancing in ages & when I’m about to shake the booty, I still be able to dance! :)

It was a real workout latino dance & I sweat a lot. Seriously a lot. like i can squeeze my sweat from the tee that I am wearing. LOL.

The instructor used those pumping body/booty (I’m sure you get the idea; see how Shakira, J.Lo, Beyonce & etc) moves. The class ended with a little bit of hiphop move, which is quite fun too and not as tough as it looks. Maybe it is quite hard for the beginner but for those who know how to dance, I’m sure you are able to pick it up in no time. :)

Anyway, I’m still over-ly ecstatic about it. This is how I start my long holiday. :) I’m sure holiday going to be better tomorrow. :)

Banana leaf lunch yo!! :) ahhhh I miss KL so so much. I miss the night life, shopping haven, varieeeeety of foooooood to choose from & the friends over there!

Good morning everyone! Ha ha It’s only 7.43 am and I’m already in the office. Darn, I didn’t realize I was so early. So here I am, using my computer in the office, blogging my heart out. LOL. Nothing much to say actually since it the day is just about to begin. Anyhow, I went to the gym yesterday and I was lifting weights again as usual. LOL.

Prior to that I stopped by the petrol station to pump gas. I was so, so clumsy as everything was not in place. I parked the car too far, or too near etc. The petrol cashier guy felt sorry for me & helped me to pump the gas for me. ha.ha. That was one embarassing moment. Same thing happened when I was about to park the car at the City Mall. sigh.

Alright I got to  go and start working.  I even brought my tropical forest of the Far East book today so that I can refer for some bombastic ecology terms to be put into my EIA report. LOL.Toddles! :)

Ah! I feel so bloated. :( and seriously need to burn calories. I’m seriously considering to go and check out the fitness centre tomorrow after work. Seems that I can’t play against the wall during weekdays anymore as my working hour lasted until 6pm. Well 6pm in KK is like 7pm in KL.. So I gotta find place where I can work out even after dark. The fitness centre (excuse me, urm.. the only commercial fitness centre in KK) is only 2 minutes drive from my office.

I was so dead bored in the office just now. It gets worst after lunch as I almost doze off. She then called me to discuss something on my next project. She still refused to tell me about my next task & only said that I’ll be handling a mixed development project ( which consist of SoHo, housing, hotels, etc). The firm just secured 2 projects and she will give one to me and another one to another executive. Lets just hope she won’t give both projects to me! Or else I have 3 projects to juggle. great.

Anyway, I have started reading reports on mixed developments. The one I’m reading now is the report for KK Mega Mall project located near to my house & already in contruction as the time I’m writing this. Other than that, I need to look at the Mega Long Penampang project as well as the Suria mall. Great! I’ll be handling project related to the shopping mall. I Loike! LOL.

OK, thats all from me today. I’m not in the mood to write as I think my hormones starting to go haywire again (Note: please refer to the title post). Yeah I’m having mood swings and irritability, tension, bloating, and breast tenderness now. So back-off.

Mua!
