I’m currently blogging from the new macbook – No, no.. I didn’t buy new macbook, I still love my white macbook but …
belongs to my cousin. She just bought the new macbook to replace her iBook G4 (yep, THAT old). and now I’m all GREEN. *dayumm*
Anyway, some of the new features/ better spec-requirement in addition to the white/and black polycarbonate macbook are:
1. Multitouch trackpad (dayummmmm.. 2-fingers scroll, 4 fingers swipe, OMG I’m going ga-ga over the trackpad). I’m practically wanted to try sticking my tougue to the trackpad to see whether I can run the pointer over, OK too much)
2. Processor and memory ( nothing to boost about this as my macbook comparable to new ones, duh. yes, i upgraded mine)
3. Storage – Optional 250 GB or 320 GB 5400-rpm HD or 128 GB solid-state drive (ok,fine!)
4. Graphics -NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory (OK, comparable to macbook pro, FINE FINE. Better than mine)
5. Wireless -Built-in AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi (based on IEEE 802.11n draft specification)2; built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) module (wtf?)
6. Design:
a) Unidesign enclosure – single piece of Aluminium
b) Thinner, lighter
c) Glass display with LED backlight technology (something to drool over)
7. Design for ENVIRONMENT (DfE) – Read their Environmental Status Report

OMFG. I want!
One of the requirement during field work for EIA is land-use survey within 1/3/more km radius from the Project site. I applied the same principle to my visit to 1Borneo cellphone fair at the centre court today. I see lotsa promoter wearing Celcom blue tee and I guess, bluek.. another celcom promo tour. LOL.
What really attract me to go to the centre court was one roller banner with apple logo on it and ‘iPhone 3G’.
My feet automatically shift my direction from going towards Charles & Keith to the centre court. LOL.
and guess what, I played with X1 today! OMFG.. it fits perfectly to my hand (hint, hint)
But… it cost about 3888MYR here as in 15 Nov 08. dang.
Then again, what directed me to the centre court was the partially eaten apple. the 3G in black.
This beauty cost about 3338 MYR for 8GB here.
Lookie, lookie! Price for these two precious consist of my favorite numbers, 3 and 8! Good sign!
I visited nokia booth as well. I was thinking, maybe I should opt for simpler phone. So I was checked out N85 today too. Cool spec. dual-slider. But since s500i, slider phone not good for me. This is the cheapest phone that I checked-out. 1788MYR.
Other than that, I visited HTC booth too. and checked out HTC Touch Pro. Impressive spec, nice QWERTY keyboard but very thick. Cost about 3099 MYR.
I wanted to try out HTC Touch HD, but they are running out of stock today. sigh. HTC Touch HD retailing at 3399 MYR. Not bad, another model to be iPhone-killer.
Oh god, please help me decide.
Oh, and I was thinking of getting Blackberry Bold too. But what I don’t like about this is the commitment (to the service provider of course).
Another baby that will be under my observation for the next few months. HTC/T-Mobile G1 (or whatever the name is). This phone will be installed with the new OS from google, Android. More info here!
Only available for US market ATM!
Hmmmm. But after all the screening etc, I can conclude that iPhone still hold the winner title for the most responsive screen that I’d ever play-with. Despite the shabby-spec and hardware requirement (2MP camera phone, oh come-on Mr Gates, you can do better than that!), I still love the safari and iTunes in it.
HTC, Samsung and SE has come up with better spec that are comparable (and some, even better) than iPhone. but I still want …(fill in the blank).
aww I can’t write good gadget review.. as my opinion and liking will always tilting to mac products. LOL.
Enough said!
(This is long-overdue post)
Though as much as I love my first generation iPod nano, I can’t help but to feel wanting to get the new release of 4th generation of iPod nano…
aww… and they come in variety of vibrant colors! *drool*
or… shall I consider the second generation of iPod Touch? Ohgodam*drool*fukinniiceee!
Ipod Touch and Ipod nano starting at $299 and $149 respectively.
So what say you? Do I have to give in to my gadget-lust?
Introducing… the latest addition to my mac family…
The mighty mouse!

I am terribly exhausted from today’s outing. Ah. I woke up early as I need to be in 1Borneo at 8 am. We (2 executives & I) were late by then as we saw the Sagajuta big man helicopter already landed in front of the Auto City.

The big boss already giving out speech when we arrived at the concourse. Ha.ha. As usual, we were super-late.

And then everyone ushering the boss for the grand opening,eh? Actually i really don’t know where are they going, we were just, tag along. LOL.

Owh, they went to the Sagajuta office for the… urm, launching.

Then off back to the concourse for the token of appreciation session, where every contractors, consultants, staff, etc were given certificates, voucher, air-tickets … etc.

Yes, me. LOL. We were too lazy to join other consultants sitting, so we decided to stand with the 1B staff.

Representative from the monitoring & auditing division. We are their environmental consultant

I woke up early on saturday morning just for this! argh

and… that’s about it! The largest lifestyle Hypermall in er… Borneo.

After the ceremony, we had breakfast at Kingfisher’s then I’m off to pick Piare, Gugu, Piare’s friend & Ren up. We were driving around the town, Sutera, Tanjung Aru beach & off to 1Borneo, again. Had lunch at pizza as every other shop packed with people. Then Gugu saw this when we were in the level 2.
Gugu: I want to ride that Piare! *LOL.

Gugu was having blast at Booboo land (Not sure whether I spell this correctly). LOL.
When we were on the way back to the car, I came across this. Located at the ground concourse, next to M.A.C cosmetic & GUESS shop. Could it be something that I’ve been waiting for in KK???
nyheheheehehe. Let’s not make any assumption. Let’s just wait & see. *grin*

Oh btw! I saw the document/laptop bag in Braun Buffel!! The one that i fall in love with when I saw that bag in the Buffel outlet in the Gardens!
ah. I soooo want that!
I will look handsome carrying my document and macbook with this bag. mwhahaha.
It is a Men Business Messenger Bag. It has a unique opening. I have google it & it is listed in ebay.uk
I am waiting for my plane in the boarding room now. Lucky I bring my macbook everywhere so everytime I have to wait for something, I can just kill the time by going online. Luckily in KL too, practically every corner is wireless covered area. Hmmm I wonder what happened to the WiMaX thingy that supposed to be implemented in the Klang Valley area. I think they need time to cover the whole of Klang Valley area & put up the infrastructure, study the feasibility of the connectivity, testing it and etc. I am sure the first few years, those wimax going to be sucks, big time! Sorry to WiMaX people, I am not underestimate you but usually the pilot project going to show flaws etc & I am sure it will improve over time. Ha.ha.
Anyway, I am using the KLIA-LCC wireless connection right now & terribly cursing every minute of it. I can’t even establish the connection for my Mercury program (It’s a MSN-client program meant for Mac). Hmmm probably I am sitting far from the router, so I can’t blame the connection for being like a turtle. LOL.
The great one pick me up & sent me to the airport just now. Before sending me, we drop by Ganesh for the last round of rawa thosai, chicken varuval & a teh tarik. Yummy. It was touching when the great one were asked by the lady boss of the shop of why I am not going to the place to eat anymore. awww. I’ve been practically eating almost everyday for the past 3 years. I am sure everyone recognize me there & know what I want to eat. LOL.
I am so gonna miss KL! Not that KL is the best place to stay ( I still LOVE my Likas Bay, great blue-sky/ocean, fresh air, GREEN, laid-back atmosphere) but somehow I fall in love with KL too. Not the first love though (KK still the first! LOL).
By the time I’m typing the line, I’ve got another 20 minutes before boarding. Hopefully this flight won’t be delayed or something. LOL. Grace just texted me and said she’s still stuck in Malacca, on the way back to KL. Sad, can’t meet her before I board. Oh well, I am sure we’re going to meet again 2 months from now. and our end-year shopping Singapore trip!!
Yep. Google data centre is my NEW clock wallpaper! I downloaded it from my favourite wallpaper website Vlad Studio ! I listed this website in my blogroll too, so anyone want to browse their wallpaper & clock wallpaper, do check out the website. I’ve been using their wallpaper for my computer since donkey years. ROFL.
Here’s the screenshot of my cute wallpaper.
Do check out my new blog header too! It is a picture of my mac & a toffee nut muffin (Note: Damz itu bukan nasi lah. ha.ha. doink!).

I do have 65 songs in my iLike playlist. and thousands of songs in my entire library. Do you expect me to list down everything here no? LOL. :p
Again, Im not in particular to write something meaningful to be read here but it is just that I feel that I like to write something now. Please bear with me and don’t just stop reading this post until this dot. Ha,ha.
My next project would be a mixed commercial development. I can’t say much about it here; it supposed to be a company affair but, what the hell. LOL. Lets just say we copy KL Sentral and put it here, and walla! My project.
I have received the development and the topographical survey plan from the project proponent but not the updated ones. I’m sure there going to be changes in the design etc. Roughly the allocated area & the landuse would be the same. I got to start looking for the area in the restricted map tomorrow & start, start and start it without being asked to. I got to bug the boss too to start giving me more info about the project & forced her to drag me to meet the project proponent. Ha.ha. Hey! I love my job remember?
Anyway, I need to know how to use the Computer Aided Design program; CAD in short. I bought the autoCAD donkey years ago but didn’t bother to learn it. Now I’m struggling with the command to edit the drawings. Worse, is that now I’m using Mac but the program I bought is for windows-platform. I have to download the freeware CAD program for mac.
Hmmm… life’s been hectic & plain. I’m still the old me. Nothing changes, nothing improved. I feel like wanting to talk to someone but who would listen?
I have plenty of friends but I don’t think I have found the real friend that can share fun, laughter and even tears together. I feel so real empty. So here I am, blogging my heart out though I know no one will read this.
Cest la vie.
