Happy new year to all! Thank you for endless new year wishes y’all! I hope new year brings more great adventures to everyone life! 
2008 has been a great year for me: I’ve graduated & started working life; new friends; new hobby etc. I’m hoping 2009 will bring more great things & exciting life to unfold within this 2009 onwards. I can’t wait!
I spent my new year’s eve by having dinner at Toscani’s, Waterfront with NF. We’re supposed to celebrate NY in one large group but in the end, the plan didn’t execute & left the two of us celebrating. Anyhow, we had fun talkin’ & chillin’ & his friend came & join us before the clock strikes to 12. So there were 3 of us, two guys and a girl. ho,ho.
Wasn’t in the mood of taking pictures during the countdown as I feel it is hopeless because the only firework we saw was from some island direction. I can’t get the point of people taking pictures of firework that far (from the Waterfront) even those with dSLR + telephoto zoom, I find it useless & ridiculous.
Anyway, the only object that I’m interested in photographing was the fiber optic table lighting decor I bought from the guy selling it from table to table. I told him of the type of lighting that looks cool using fiber optic (as one dedicated to the decor of National Science Centre in KL). Ah. I want to light my house with that kind of lighting.

Ah. woke up late this morning (Hey I came back home at about 3.30ish mind you!) & hurried to wash up, lunch & off to 1B to meet Ivan & collecting my macbook from the mac shop. Ah. I feel so sad that when I switch on my macbook, everything has been wiped off & it’s fresh as it is just came out from the factory.
I need to download & install application such as Lightroom 2, Aperture as well as syncing my SE to the macbook.
The only thing that I’m thankful of is that I’m using Leopard woohoo.

I’m currently blogging from the new macbook – No, no.. I didn’t buy new macbook, I still love my white macbook but …
belongs to my cousin. She just bought the new macbook to replace her iBook G4 (yep, THAT old). and now I’m all GREEN. *dayumm*
Anyway, some of the new features/ better spec-requirement in addition to the white/and black polycarbonate macbook are:
1. Multitouch trackpad (dayummmmm.. 2-fingers scroll, 4 fingers swipe, OMG I’m going ga-ga over the trackpad). I’m practically wanted to try sticking my tougue to the trackpad to see whether I can run the pointer over, OK too much)
2. Processor and memory ( nothing to boost about this as my macbook comparable to new ones, duh. yes, i upgraded mine)
3. Storage – Optional 250 GB or 320 GB 5400-rpm HD or 128 GB solid-state drive (ok,fine!)
4. Graphics -NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory (OK, comparable to macbook pro, FINE FINE. Better than mine)
5. Wireless -Built-in AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi (based on IEEE 802.11n draft specification)2; built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) module (wtf?)
6. Design:
a) Unidesign enclosure – single piece of Aluminium
b) Thinner, lighter
c) Glass display with LED backlight technology (something to drool over)
7. Design for ENVIRONMENT (DfE) – Read their Environmental Status Report

OMFG. I want!
I have never been a fan of the Sex and the City series (due to not really, really watching the series from the very beginning) and thank god for that! No offense people! I’m pretty much easily get addicted to series like the mentioned. My loss for not being in the hype & crazy over the series, storyline, haute couture & the NY life.
But hey! Its not too late to love the series! Ha,ha. I just watched the movie & I find myself in tears in a couple of scenes. Give me a break! I’m a girl too. I am allowed to get sappy & tearful over a couple of scenes, so.. :p
After the movie, I find that:
1. I fall in love with Mr Big character. I want my own Mr. Big *grin*
2. The story-line is pretty much like a fantasy reality. Oh how I love when Big proposed to Carrie with a blue Melono Blahnik but at the same time, yep, everyone can get rejected & brokenhearted. That is part of life.
3. I just love the soundtrack. I love the new Fergie’s Labels or Love song, Jennifer Hudson’s All Dressed Up In Love as well as old track being re-mix into house-easy listening such as Nina Simone-The Look of Love.
4. oh yeah! apple all the way! macbook pro. iphone. All the edgy-gadget in the movie
Which reminds me to get the see-thru hard shell cover for my Macbook. I drop by the shop selling Apple products & came across the guy i fight/flirt with over the apple products. So today I made a bet with him: If I’m not getting Leopard by September, I’m dead. LOL.
By few discussion with one Apple enthusiast, I decided to choose black case for my macbook. Reason? I own a white AND black Macbook! LOL. How cool is that?
Anyway, I love other color as well… lime green, purple as well as pink. awww.

Look what I have purchased today. Braun Buffel Men Messenger Bag supposed to be in my wish list but I can’t afford to buy that as I am (cough) trying to save some kaching (cough) for my 3 trips within this 2 months.
Instead, I choose Belkin messenger bag for notebook up to 15.4″ in chocolate/tourmaline. I was considering Dove/Peony but I guess its too cheeky for me. I want something that I can look ‘handsome’ carrying my gadget. mwhahaha.
Owh, and I bought the latest addition for my mac family too; Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter.
Had a hearty-meal slash my-favourite-cranberry-cooler-and-gourmet-chicken-&-mushroom-pie at Dome Cafe with Ren today for lunch at 1Borneo.

After a failed attempt of shopping, we headed to the nearest stop for a coffee break. Oh I so love the high ceiling, overlooking Dome cafe & spacious area at the shop.

Before heading back to the car, we drop by the shop that sells Apple products & I bought the macbook keyboard shield.

Yep I went to 1Borneo today as it is ‘unofficially’ open its door to public. Well, my first impression was, whoa, not bad lah. The developer still rushing to finish up everything. Basically the mall & its adjacent hotels are in the finishing phase but for condos, they are still struggling with the floor construction.
I hope this mall will have sufficient parking lot to accommodate the number of visitors especially during the weekend. The first shop that makes me go ga-ga was the French Connection! FCUK finally reaching KK!
There are some other bigger store open in 1B as compared to the one in Warisan such as Charles & Keith, Esprit, Billabong, Blush etc. Argh I can’t remember all the shops, but some that i take notice are M.A.C cosmetic!!, Braun Buffel!!!!, Tune store, Nine West, MNG, Crocs, GUESS, Euro Moda, Samsonite, and etc.
However, I can’t locate my Zara yet. 
Owh, some of the cafe that I notice during my visit was Starbucks, Kenny Roger & RCH. We weren’t really walk to every lane & corner. mwhahaha.
Th GSC 1Borneo wasn’t that bad, as compared to the one in downtown. It is much more better. But it is incomparable to the Cineleisure Damansara! I sooo LOVE the Cineleisure The Curve!

I went to 1B with si Adamz. He’s down in KK for some fam thingy. mwhahaha. Then we went off to Warisan Sq for lunch etc. I then went ga-ga over his iphone! warghghghgh. i want an iPhone!!
oh dang! Now I seriously want one. I have made up my mind. I’m getting iPhone over xperia X1! But of course I have to wait until end of this year (the earliest) to get my hands on the 2nd generation!
I met his ‘cute’ friend too & we hang-out at Starbucks Warisan & everyone went ga-ga again over gadgets. I brought along my macbook too, obviously. *rofl.
ah I can’t sleep tonight. I still can feel the iphone on my palm & fingertip! *Soi oh ko adamz. LOL.
Oh btw, 1Borneo is not located in the city centre. It is located along the Jalan Sulaman-UMS. So in order to increase human traffic to the Project area, they are planning to offer hovercraft service to transport people from the city centre & the airport. Cool eh. The reason being to transport people straight to the airport is that, 1B will housed 4 hotels, Tune Hotel, Novotel 1B, Mercure and BEST WESTERN Coutryard Hotel. The taxi ride will cost a bomb to transfer tourist from the airport to 1Borneo.
Could this kind of hovercraft will be another new added item to KK-Likas seaview ?

Ah Im dead tired now, but I’m not complaining!
mwhahaha. I started off the day by taking the earliest BKI-KUL flight you can i possibly imagine & slept throughout the entire journey. I arrived in KL around 9.40 am. dang! 2 hrs & 10 mins instead of the usual 2 hrs & 30 mins. Then I rushed off to settle down stuff & off to Bangsar Village II for a lunch date with Grace. We had our lunch at the Banquet. It is a very nice & exclusive-looking restaurant, you wouldn’t missed it.
Banquet located at level 1 of the Bangsar Village II. Menu consist of a fusion of east & west dishes with a wide choices of wine etc. I had some pasta & Grace had nasi lemak. Well the food taste alright to me. I kind of regret declining dessert as the tiramisu looks so heavenly-delicious. I got to drag someone to go there for tiramisu.

I bought something for J as birthday gift! This happened when we were in one of the accessories shop in the City Mall. We came across some cool bracelet, ring etc made of the hawaii hibiscus flower imported from Hawaii. We bought the same design. LOL.
So i told her that I came across similar thing in Bangsar Village but with much more bigger flower! Didn’t know she’s into these kind of thing. So i decided to buy those for her (the hair clip with big flower) & a hair band (with the same flower too) for myself. I try it out & i fell in love with both. I decided to keep both for myself (dang!) & will go to the shop again to buy another one for her. *grin* Below is the picture of the flower hair accessories.

I need to get shades too, we were checking out shades at A|X store just now too. hmmm.
Wasn’t really into full force of shopping yet. LOL. She bought the super glossy Dior lipgloss while I bought the travel-kit 3-step Clinique as I forgot to bring my toiletries. LOL.
I’m back in the room now. Feeling extremely exhausted.
oh btw. I bring my macbook to KL. I can’t imagine being disconnected from the internet for 4 days!
Tough choice just now between the cute top from Dorothy Perkins or fancy dress from Topshop.
Oh don’t get me started with the accessories shop, Diva. They are having like 50% off for almost all items! OMMO!

Alright… I’m not in mood to write anything here today but it felt good to blog from my macbook again (as compared to blog from my PC). It makes a HUGE difference. seriously!
Ah! I got a huge zit on my forehead! shoot! How am I going to attend job interview with a 50 cents huge of zit on my forehead! dang!
Last night I went out with friends celebrating Cynthia’s 23rd birthday. OMG! 2-3! I soon to be 23 too! OMG, that’s quite…oh my (gasp). We had dinner at Grazie’s. I had some creme mushroom pasta & Jessie had lasagna. I won’t give rating on the food (suggestion: go & try the food yourself there). There were 12 of us, mostly from 5A All Saints 2002.
Then we headed to Secret Recipe’s at Warisan Square but by the time we arrived there it was… urm… 10 pm & they are closing at 11 pm. We decided to go to Upperstar as it is one of the place in KK that doesn’t close their business before 12 midnight. ha,ha.
And I arrived back at home around 1.30 am. *rofl. way past my curfew. Hmmm.. do i have a curfew? I don’t think so. ha,ha.
Anyway, thats what happening yesterday & today I’m just chilling at home. waiting for people to rewire & redo my streamyx. gosh. and, here I am; blogging before i hit the sacks.
Oh! my job interview postponed to wednesday 9 January. The boss seems to be busy on monday. So, yeah ample time to prepare. Anyway, what to prepare?
argh! I need to get rid of this zit first thing I want to do!
