We’ve come to the end of the year again, and anticipating to enter the new year of 2009. So, what’s you accomplishment this year? what have you archived and what’s not? For me, I have archived half of the the new year resolution & another half, still continue struggling to achieve it. Let’s list down my accomplishment for 2008:
(Refer to my New Year Resolution (31/12/2007) post)
List of things I hope that I can achieve in 2008:
1. To be a braver person
2. Discover my potential; job-wise, talent-wise etc
3. Trying to be extrovert ( OK, now i sound desperate.lol)
4. Try to have more fun with friends
5. Save! save & save!
Comment:
1. Yep, I am a braver person than before now. I can drive all the way to the north & south by myself. I can try to fit in the the group of people I never thought would be as fun as dull as they look. ha,ha.
2. I am still discovering my potential etc. But the question now.. which road I want to take..?
3. Erk. I’m extrovert now than before I started working. So, fine
I’m happy with it. woooohooo.
4. Indeed! I had a blast in a large group outing as well as spending time with a couple of close friends. yep.
5. Erk… not yet achieve this as all I’m doing this year is to spend, spend & spend. lol. Shall carry this resolution to next year. bluek!
What do I want to achieve in 2009?
1. Have more (and more) fun! Trip to Fiji with bestie perhaps?
2. Enroll into MTech programme. yep!
3. Register myself as assistant consultant;
4. Appreciation of nature & knowledge;
5. To be very serious in photography (Photography is crucial in scientist daily life, as well as tree-huggers). Yeah, I’m taking at least 200 photos for my field work;
6. My own crib (with the illustrated interior & finishings from the previous post mentioned) in Tropicana/Dsara/Mutiara/anywhere nearby the campus;
7. Start back on my work-out regime! erk.. this include polishing tennis skills, start to jog, muscle build-up, I want to join back Bodyjam (!!),
8. (This is crucial) To overcome my hydro-phobic (sounded like I’m some sort of intermolecular forces)
Ok peeps! Got to go back to work! and to plan a New Year dinner tonight
Have a blast new year! Cheers.
In the mean time, enjoy the random shots.

Newlywed photoshoot at Melinsung Bay
Jesselton Point, originally uploaded by anggun3.
I’m not particularly good in photography, yet as well as post-production of the image. This picture taken during the first outing with my baby and to hangout with Jessie at Jesselton Point.
That day was bleak, 4.30-ish pm and started to drizzle. I was still in dazed on configuring my baby and trying out different function on the camera. The result would be just a plain point-and-shoot image.
However, 2 days ago (after 3 months of shooting this image. lol). I tried to compose a two different exposure and enhance the color of the image with just a few clicks in the Lightroom 2. I’m not particularly happy with the result but this one looks better than the original image. heh.
I got to read and practice more on this. I need a guru.
Yep, I am excited and yet, terrified. I will be flying off to Putrajaya next week (excited) with my boss (terrified) for a presentation (terrified, pee in the pants) of my recent assignment. I have told the boss that I am going to extend my stay (excited) for another round of shopping (VERY excited).
Ah. I hate mixed-feelings at one time. Because by then, you will equally balance it out so in the end, I am neither excited nor terrified of it.
So yeah. I am *giggling* and grinning by just thinking what I am going to do in KL but at the same time, I am worried, on to present my proposal to the panel of people.
Awww. Help me. I finished drawing up the outline of the presentation but I have yet to prepare my speech text. Ah. Need to be technical. T.E.C.H.N.I.C.A.L.
On the other note,
I am quite ecstatic over my recent purchase of the dSLR. I am STILL trying to figure out how to balance out the shutter speed, aperture, ISO thingy etc in the creative mode function.
It is useless to buy SLR if you are just using the automatic mode. Hell, better to buy power-shot or any other point-&-shoot camera. it is just a waste to buy a SLR for an automatic mode.
mwhahahaha. I am going bonkers.
I am uberly exhausted from today’s work. The whole morning I was busy networking with the rest of the colleagues, mwhahaha. We were discussing important things without moving an inch from our desk (which means we were using gmail chat to discuss & gossip. Today’s office atmosphere was a bit laid back as the boss was away to some seminar.
The headache came after lunch when I have to attend the consultants meeting for my Project. I was dang sleepy when they went into details & which doesn’t really require my attention. Dang, I was the youngest among all in the meeting room. Lucky the chairperson was generous enough to discuss the matter pertaining my side early in the meeting. and lucky the KK architect & CS engineer helped me & backed me up instead of just me explaining the whole process EIA thingy to the client. Most of the time, I kept quiet as they were discussing in more details of the structure, traffic impact etc. Anyway, I can’t discuss further much here. But it was an eye-opener to be in the same table with one of the most notable developer, architect & even traffic consultant in Malaysia. I have google-d some of them & based on their experiences, I feel so dang small as compared to them. No worries, I will be at the same level as theirs now in the future, amen.
Oh, I am still listening to the E=Mc2 everyday. I’m starting to like a couple of songs. More than a couple actually. But as usual, I’ll end up liking the whole album. So, yeah. My review would be a bit bias. Ha.ha.
I need to work on my photography skills too. But I just can’t find time to work on that. Since my cousin housewarming will be shifted from this saturday to friday, I think I am going to make a trip somewhere to polish more on my photography skills. Maybe to Tanjung Aru perhaps? I have yet to make a trip to the Sunset Bar there. Ha.ha. Me & my friend also planning to make a trip to Dalit beach as to where the Shangrila Rasa Ria located for another round of hangout. We just love to hangout at the sunset bar. Only thing is the Rasa Ria bar is called Sampan Bar instead of Sunset bar.
Do check out the Sunset Bar & the Sampan Bar. Both are from the Shangri-La hotel chain.
Why do I keep blogging when I know no one is reading? Hmmm blogging is a substitute to keeping journal or diary & yes, I keep one of those when I was a teenager. Now blogging is more relevant to me as I can keep it posted online as well as reducing the usage of paper. LOL.
Anyway, I’m addicted to Heroes. I love the storyline as the character evolves slowly throughout the series. You will always want to know what is going to happen next at the end of every episode (isn’t all series episode ended like this eh?). I love all the characters; Claire, Mr Bennet, Nathan (!!!), Isaac & even Hiro & Ando. Ha,ha. I love the way in which all the characters related to each other & how they can ‘save the world’. Lol. Can’t wait for the next season of Heroes. I read some of the spoilers already! Ha.ha.
Gosh I can’t believe I choose to study over TV series. I sacrificed 3-4 years of my life for university & I’m way behind all the good TV shows. I am going to catch up with 24 later on. My friend said it is VERY addictive as well.
Went out for another toffee nut craze. I bought the muffin this time. So its toffee nut muffin for my dinner tonight then. I should stop eating all these & switch to healthy food. And I should stop reducing my caffeine intake as well as my constant visit to fast food chain. I’m degrading my health with all these stuff. Though I work out more than before now but I should take more healthy & nutritious food.
By the way, I am 109 lbs now! Yeay! Initially, 3 years back I want to achieve my ideal weight 120 lbs so I forced myself to stay healthy by working out; cardio, weight-lifting, tennis & walk as I was so unfit, chubby etc. Though I still am chubby & not-so-fit but I shrink. My goal now is to increase my metabolism & turning my fat to muscles. Ha.ha. Good luck iDa!
Last night I had this crazy dream that I become a professional sports photographer. LOL. Seriously! Maybe I should take photography seriously, like a profession. OK will continue writing again later!
